Amit Bedi

Co-Founder and Partner

Amit has 15 years of private equity experience focused on acquiring and growing family-owned businesses.

Before founding Flight Equity, he was a Principal at Gryphon Investors, a $10B AUM firm in San Francisco. He has also invested at Siris Capital Group and Allomer Capital, and began his career as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America.

Over his career he has invested in 10 platform acquisitions across 6 industries, with more than 50 add-on acquisitions and over $2B of equity capital deployed on behalf of pensions, endowments, universities and families. He has served as a board member of Shermco Industries, Jensen Hughes, Right Time and Southern HVAC.

Amit grew up in New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, where he was on the Dean's List, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
